About
Our Story
The Collective for Antiracism in Medicine was formed was formed in 2020 at the intersection of two pandemics — COVID-19 and structural racism. BIPOC communities have been deeply impacted by both pandemics.

Multiple arenas, including healthcare and education, are experiencing a significant reckoning with how structural racism is deeply embedded within their policies, practices, and overall institutions.

Committing to and investing in antiracism is critical.
It requires us to engage in honest reflection, organizational assessment, and the important learning and unlearning needed to manifest diversity, inclusion, equity, and justice.
Our Framework
The Collective AIM’s framework is designed to help dismantle systemic inequities, address biases, and promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice across healthcare institutions.
